According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s primary aluminum production rose 3.6% in November from a year earlier to a record 3.7 million tons. Production from January to November totaled 40.2 million tons, up 4.6% year on year growth.
Meanwhile, statistics from the Shanghai Futures Exchange shows, aluminum stocks totaled about 214,500 tonnes as of November 13. The weekly decline was 4.4%, the lowest level since May 10. Inventory has been declining for seven consecutive weeks.
