Alcoa has signed an aluminum supply extension agreement with Bahrain Aluminum

Arconic (Alcoa) announced on October 15th that extended its long-term aluminum supply contract with Bahrain Aluminum (Alba). The agreement is valid between 2026 and 2035. Within the 10 years, Alcoa will supply up to 16.5 million tons of smelting-grade aluminum to the Bahrain Aluminum Industry.

The aluminum that will be supplied for a decade mainly comes from Western Australia.

Contract extension is an endorsement of a long-term partnership between Alcoa and Alba. It makes Alcoa Alba’s largest third-party supplier of aluminum.

Besides, the contract extension is also in line with Alcoa’s strategy to become a long-term stable supplier to Alba over the next decade and to support itself as the preferred supplier of aluminum supply.
