2 xxx series aluminum plate is an important alloy series of aluminum plate products. As a heat-treated alloy, Al-Cu alloy has a long history characterized by high hardness, among which the original copper content is high, about 3-5%.
Alloy 2024 is known as aviation aluminum, which can be strengthened under natural aging (T4). 2024 is a 2 xxx series alloy with industrial application. The current application scope is mainly for rivets, general mechanical parts, aircraft, ships, transportation, building structural parts, structural parts of transportation tools, propellers and accessories, etc.
2024 aluminum plate is an alloy with higher performance and higher strength than 2017 aluminum alloy T4 under aging. Especially in the processing of difficult, high density parts and high appearance color requirements can fully reflect the advantages of the material.
